Business Development Manager

As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in our Sobeys and Costco business units. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer plans and presentations to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Manage and analyze data sources to identify market trends and opportunities for growth
  • Support internal and external forecasting capabilities to improve in-stock position and forecast accuracy
  • Effectively manage trade spend budgets based on account objectives
  • Develop and support tools, promotions, and sell sheets for execution in the field
  • Facilitate internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer programs and opportunities
  • Draft detailed action plans to attain sales and profit targets based on a solid understanding of customer needs and business opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration
  • Three to five years of experience in sales

Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, interacts well with multiple departments as required
  • Excellent time management and priority setting

  • Must own a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, with a clean driver's abstract
