Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interprofessional health care team. As an LPN, you will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Assist physicians in the day-to-day operation of the clinic
  • Perform administrative tasks such as booking appointments, creating new patient records, and checking patients in
  • Clean exam rooms between patients, stock exam rooms, and make specialist referrals
  • Track patient results and reports, order office supplies, and maintain daily operations of the clinic with minimal supervision
  • Participate in RAIs, care planning, assessments, IDT meetings, and patient care in LTC

Required Qualifications:

">
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills with members of the public, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $54,996 - $70,369, depending on experience.

This position is located in the Village of Breton, Alberta, Canada.
