Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Construction Specialties, Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and reviewing structural design analysis for all exterior aluminum products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct structural design analysis for exterior aluminum products
  • Coordinate between different drawings, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within structural engineering
  • Apply knowledge of Canadian and US building codes and design manuals
  • Work with latest AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in structural design analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering (MS preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of structural design analysis experience with aluminum and steel structures
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and flexible to change tasks with short notice
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills
