Job Title: Structural Engineer

RocMar Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing construction plans, conducting site visits, and ensuring that projects meet building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop construction plans and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients and other team members to determine project requirements and develop solutions
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and budgets
  • Review and approve survey and civil design work
  • Prepare contract documents and review tenders for construction projects
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
