Job Title: Structural Engineer

RocMar Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for various construction projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer with a strong background in building design and construction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits, gathering data, and developing technical analyses and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and data
  • Develop technical analyses and reports for construction projects
  • Collaborate with clients and engineering team members to determine project requirements
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures
  • Ensure construction plans meet building codes and regulations
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules
  • Supervise technicians and engineers and review designs and calculations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
