Lawn Care Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to join our team at PB10 Construction & Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planting, maintenance, and upkeep of our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to company standards.
- Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Grounds Planning: Organize and plan the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, taking into account seasonal changes and weather conditions.
- Labour and Materials Planning: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Supply Requisition: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Newcomer and Refugee Support: Develop and implement mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, promoting cultural understanding and integration.
- Youth Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, providing guidance and support in their career development.
- Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and awareness programs to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Visible Minority Support: Develop and implement mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, promoting cross-cultural understanding and career advancement.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
