We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Sorriso Dental Clinic. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary.
About the RoleAs a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, ordering supplies, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
You will also support our clinic's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by providing mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, visible minorities, and newcomers/refugees.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures.
- Order dental and office supplies.
- Perform administrative functions, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients.
- Invoice patients for dental services.

- Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.

- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
