Salary and Benefits

Job Description

As an Associate Dentist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients' oral health to diagnose disease, injury, or decay and planning appropriate treatments.
  • Providing comprehensive dental services, including restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Tracking patient progress, identifying changes or the progression of dental disease, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Prescribing medications to manage and treat dental conditions effectively.
  • Referencing patients to specialists for procedures beyond the scope of general practice.
  • Supervising dental hygienists and assistants to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • A valid state dental license and current certifications.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in various aspects of dentistry.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
