Interior Designer II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer II to lead the interior design of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the creation of innovative and captivating spaces that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for interior design projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, graphic designers, and construction professionals, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality design documents, including construction documents, specifications, and furniture packages.
  • Present design concepts and final designs to clients via virtual meetings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Respond to client inquiries and project executives in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate interior design concepts and finalize designs, ensuring that they meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales, architects, engineering, graphic designers, multi-sensory consultants, and build teams on projects, providing guidance across all disciplines for coordination.
  • Provide documentation to estimating to establish project budget.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, approximately 3,600 sq ft or less.
  • Assist Senior Interior Designers on projects approximately 3,600+ sq ft, while receiving mentorship to develop the skills necessary to advance to a Senior Interior Designer role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 5+ years of commercial interior design experience.
  • NCIDQ, LEED, or WELL accreditation is preferred.
  • Proficient with Revit and InDesign is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid G driver's license is required for rental cars.
