Interior Designer II Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer II to lead the interior design of our projects. As a key member of our design team, you will drive the creation of innovative and captivating spaces, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete projects on schedule and within established budget
  • Attend project site visits and final punch along with producing the appropriate documentation
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings along with producing the appropriate documentation
  • Produce and Review/Redline construction documents, specifications, Addendums and/or ASIs
  • Generate and present designs, construction documents, and furniture packages to the client via Teams or Zoom
  • Respond to Clients and Project Executives in a timely manner
  • Generate interior design concepts and design finalization
  • Collaborate with sales, architects, engineering, graphic designers, multi-sensory, consultants, and build team on projects, providing guidance across all disciplines for coordination
  • Provide documentation to estimating to establish project budget
  • Lead multiple projects approximately 3,600 sq ft or less simultaneously
  • Assist Senior Interior Designers on projects approximately 3,600+ sq ft, while receiving mentorship to develop the skills necessary to advance to a Senior Interior Designer role

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree within Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 5+ years of commercial interior design experience required
  • NCIDQ, LEED, or WELL accreditation is preferred
  • Proficient with Revit and InDesign is preferred
  • Possession of a valid G driver's license is required for rental cars
