Job Summary

As a Wind Energy Project Manager at Jump, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the completion of wind farm construction projects. Your duties will include preparing submissions, negotiating agreements, and directing project managers and superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan, organize, and control the completion of wind farm construction projects.
  2. Prepare submissions and execute projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Negotiate agreements with subcontractors and ensure compliance with company standards.
  4. Direct project managers and superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
  5. Assist the Vice President in negotiating customer contracts and analyzing cost control reports.
  6. Assign personnel to construction sites and monitor their productivity.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction while respecting safety, costs, schedule, and quality of work.
  8. Apply the company's quality system in accordance with the ISO standard and monitor procedures with operational staff.
  9. Participate in site start-up meetings, periodic reviews, and post-mortems, and contribute to planning reviews.
  10. Discuss legal files or litigation with the Vice President and ensure documentation.
  11. Evaluate personnel under your responsibility according to company policies and ensure their development.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.

Experience

  • 15 years of relevant experience in construction project management.

Skills

  • Relevant experience in wind farm construction.
  • Mastery of MS Office and MS Project software.
  • Bilingual (important asset).

  • Ability to show initiative and leadership.
  • Strong management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
