Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates and support staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and morale.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, and that the store is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and meet sales targets.
    • Work with the buying team to select and merchandise products that meet customer needs and drive sales.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and analysis to management.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
