Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Corporate Health Services team at Rogers Communications. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced primary and specialty nursing care to our employees, while also developing and leading programs to promote the physical and mental well-being of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures.
  • Manage and direct comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families visiting our Corporate Health Services office.
  • Consult with physicians or other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure the best possible care for our employees.
  • Develop and lead education and awareness programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Wellbeing and Health and Safety, to support the Rogers Employee Value Offering.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing and valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in Primary Health Care.
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC).
  • Membership in Nurses Association of Ontario organizations relevant to the role.
  • Extensive experience in emergency situations and knowledge of defibrillator use.
  • Current health care provider level CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • Current Criminal Record check.
  • 3-5 years RN +/- NP experience in Emergency Services preferred.
