Job Summary

SRR Transport is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trans-border documentation.
  • Weight Handling: Safely handle and transport goods weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
