About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team in Vancouver or Burnaby, British Columbia. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for managing the complete project control cycle throughout the execution of projects, including setting up projects, updating, monitoring, controlling, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, potential changes, Change Orders, commitments, accruals, progress, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including planning and scheduling teams, for all Project Controls data reconciliation and integrated project reporting efforts.
  • Participate in regular meetings with project teams, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure project progress and achievement of objectives.
  • Follow up with project teams on regular project forecast updates, including periodic assistance in estimating remaining project costs.
  • Prepare and transmit reports on project performance, as well as other documents related to project portfolios.
  • Manage and validate cost allocations related to the purchase of goods and services through the procurement process.

Requirements
  • University degree or College diploma in Engineering, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • Highly proficient in Excel with the ability to multi-task and work unsupervised or as part of a team.
