Cost Controller

Wood is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our Power Solutions business in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the cost of our services on various project types.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize project profitability
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost risks
- Provide regular cost reports and analysis to stakeholders
- 2-5 years of progressive cost control, project coordinator, or project services experience in an engineering or construction environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in project management and project controls techniques and principles
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and with clients
- Experience with Enterprise Systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Degree from a recognized university in engineering or a recognized business program
