Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at B.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
Cuisine Specialties:
