Join Us as Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including full-cycle accounting and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

You will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting;">
  • Management of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting;">
  • Development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards;">
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends;">
  • Conducting financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement;">
  • Collaboration with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and expenses;">
  • Management of relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions;">
  • Providing financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and other stakeholders;">
  • Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial processes;">

About You

">

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in full-cycle accounting and FP&A. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and hold a CPA designation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in a financial role, with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and FP&A. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000-$85,000 per year, plus annual bonus potential. Additional benefits include dental care, extended health care, on-site gym, on-site parking, and paid time off.

The successful candidate will be based in Mississauga, ON, and will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
