About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Allied Tooling Technologies Inc. as a Precision Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, measuring and laying out work pieces, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Analysis and Tolerance Control: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.
  • Work Piece Preparation: Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • Machine Tool Repair and Calibration: Repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments and machine tools to maintain optimal performance.
  • Component Assembly and Inspection: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, and verify dimensions using precise measuring instruments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
