Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at TOP PLUS EMPLOYMENT INC. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, reading blueprints and drawings, and verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set machine or equipment controls to perform machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine machining requirements
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Mastercam CAD/CAM, use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Area of work experience: Fabrication
  • Area of specialization: Development of production processes, robotic equipment and systems
Work Environment

The work environment will be noisy and dusty, with a 40-hour workweek.
