Job Summary

TOP PLUS EMPLOYMENT INC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for CNC machine tools
  • Prepare etching solutions and immerse metal parts or workpieces into the solution to remove unwanted portions
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Mastercam CAD/CAM, use of CNC machines
  • Area of work experience: Fabrication
  • Area of specialization: Development of production processes, robotic equipment and systems
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, overtime required
  • Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, team player, values and ethics, reliability, ability to multitask
