Job Title: Family Medicine Physician - Barrhead Community

Job Summary:

Shauna Wallbank is actively recruiting a Family Medicine Physician to establish a full-time practice in the community of Barrhead, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to the residents of Barrhead and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a full-time community-based practice in Barrhead
  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and chronic disease management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the local healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Current Alberta Practice Permit or valid CPSA Letter of Eligibility to practice in the advertised position
  • Recent hands-on experience in all areas of family medicine, including pediatrics, obstetrics, and geriatrics
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
