Business Analyst, Tools and Technology, Program Management Office, RDS

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Analyst to join our Program Management team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic and operational decision-making process of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis: Provide specialized expertise, analysis, and advice to internal and external stakeholders to support the organization's goals and objectives efficiently and effectively.
- Project Management: Lead the timely compilation of financial information and written variance analysis as required for internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement that could result in added value, operational efficiencies, or cost efficiencies and resolve complex issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop solutions for the business and provide strategic and comprehensive advisory services.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports and analyses, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues arising from the analysis.
- Education and Experience: A Master's degree in Business, Health Administration, or a related discipline, and a minimum of five to seven years of recent related experience in project/program management, business case research and development, preferably in a large, multi-site healthcare environment.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task without supervision.
- Indigenous Cultural Competence: A commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada, and knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples.
