Level Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Level Artist to join our team at The Coalition, a renowned game development studio in Vancouver, Canada. As a key member of our Level Art team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our artistic vision to life by creating visually stunning and high-quality levels.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Level Design Team and other artists to achieve the artistic vision and maintain visual quality and consistency.
- Produce high-quality artwork and stay updated with current level art creation workflows and industry trends.
- Work closely with the Level Design Team to solve art and design challenges and ensure levels are playable and performant.
- Communicate dependencies, blockers, and cross-department challenges to the Production Team and Art Leads.
- A portfolio showcasing high-quality environment and level artwork.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environment/level art with at least one shipped title.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work well with deadlines.
- Proficiency in level creation methods using Unreal Engine or a similar game engine.
- Strong working knowledge of Maya (preferred) or similar 3D modeling software, Substance, Photoshop, and ZBrush.
