Key Responsibilities- Understand customer insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Quote and sell insurance policies, including Home and Auto
- Assist new customers with their insurance needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Service existing customers by updating their policies to meet their changing needs and provide new products as required

- Underwrite new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by obtaining necessary information from customers
- Stay up-to-date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines
- College diploma or university degree
- Sales and customer service experience (mandatory)
- OTL licensed or RIBO licensed required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused and able to match products to customer needs
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
- Insurance sales/service underwriting experience an asset
- Actively working towards CIP or FCIP designation an asset
