Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at G S Homes Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles in various settings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, measuring and marking them accurately.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required.
  • Set tiles in place, ensuring proper alignment and straightness.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

35 to 40 hours per week.
