Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at G S Homes Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles in various settings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, measuring and marking them accurately.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required.
  • Set tiles in place, ensuring proper alignment and straightening.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace damaged or cracked tiles.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Permanent work term with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
