About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disability and Leave Consultant to join our team for a 6-month contract. As a key member of our HR Operations team, you will play a crucial role in implementing our leave programs and providing expert advice and support to our employees, managers, and HR community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on short-term and long-term disability leave, ergonomic accommodations, and leave of absence planning.
  • Work in partnership with external service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Offer excellent customer service and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Disability and Leave to develop and implement leave programs.

Requirements

  • University education in a related field and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in disability and leave management.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required, as you will interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment.
