Job Title: Front End Service Clerk

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Calgary Co-op, a leading retail co-operative in North America. As a Front End Service Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation.
  • Handle merchandise with care, minimizing damages and markdowns.
  • Perform general clean-up duties, including cleaning spills and display fixtures.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized, including disposal of garbage.
  • Perform duties following established Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental regulations and policies.
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Perform other duties as required, including opening and closing duties, setting up storefront, and preparing and assisting in organizing deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Must be fluent in English (CLBA - Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher).
  • Previous retail or related experience is desirable.
