Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of empirically-supported interventions and treatments for clients with mental health and addiction problems.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of individual and group-based interventions and treatments for clients from diverse backgrounds. You will lead measurement-based care initiatives, program development, evaluation, and research. Additionally, you will provide training and supervision to doctoral-level psychology students/residents and learners across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement empirically-supported interventions and treatments for clients with mental health and addiction problems
  • Lead measurement-based care initiatives and program development, evaluation, and research
  • Provide training and supervision to doctoral-level psychology students/residents and learners across disciplines
  • Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient forensic clinical services to develop and implement programming and therapeutic interventions
  • Coordinate planning and service provision with other clinical services across CAMH to maximize patient engagement opportunities
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario to practice Clinical Psychology
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology combined with 3 years of clinical experience
  • Extensive experience with empirically-supported psychosocial interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for psychosis, third-wave behavioral interventions, and motivational interviewing
  • Experience leading measurement-based care initiatives and research and/or evaluation experience in applied clinical contexts
  • Ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds
