About the Role
PointsBet Canada is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Operations and Payments Agent to join our Toronto-based team. As an integral member of our Operations and Payments Team, you will play a key role in supporting our company's continued growth and success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that PointsBet Canada is best-in-class when it comes to onboarding (KYC) and payments. This includes resolving any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our Manager of Payments and Fraud to monitor the integrity of key payment systems and raise concerns to the relevant individual or team.

This role requires weekend work due to the nature of the gambling industry. You must have strong analytical, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. Previous experience in the wagering industry is an asset, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet all respective KPIs for Payments and Fraud Operations as set by management.
  • Completing day-to-day payment reviews and taking appropriate action.
  • Maintaining the integrity of key payment systems.
  • Investigating and mitigating fraud risks.
  • Liaising with operational business stakeholders.

We are looking for a self-directed learner who can take on unfamiliar tasks. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be effective in various communication settings. Comfort working with all departments to address issues is essential. Additionally, you should be innovative, come up with useful ideas, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
