Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Yukon Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
