About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Waves Coffee Steveston. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our café.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our café.

Food and Beverage Service

Provide exceptional customer service by serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Staff Scheduling and Training

Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods and provide training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.

Workplace Safety and Health

Inspect workplaces regularly to identify and mitigate any safety or health hazards.

Issue Resolution

Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.

Inventory Management

Order stock and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary supplies to operate efficiently.

Marketing and Promotion

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our café and attract new customers.

Requirements
  • Availability

Be available for shift or on-call work as required.

Language

Be fluent in English.

Education and Experience

Have a college or CEGEP education and at least 1 month of experience in a related field.

Relocation

Be willing to relocate for this position.

Currently reside in proximity to our location.
