Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing leadership and coaching to our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen operations strategies.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for long periods.
