Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at T.L HOLDINGS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage kitchen staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring that they are appealing to customers and meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our means and that costs are controlled.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring that we maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
