About the Opportunity

The Physiotherapist plays a vital role in our outpatient physiotherapy team, working closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of conditions. With a focus on person-centered care, our physiotherapists develop holistic treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals.

As a member of our clinical team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participate in the evaluation of team effectiveness, and solve problems and share responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential for this role.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and current CPR certification. Previous experience in an outpatient setting and orthopedics is an asset.

The successful candidate will possess excellent teaching and patient education skills, demonstrated accountability, and a strong client focus. They will also have the ability to build solid client/practitioner relationships, collaborate and work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $33.97 - $42.89, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
