Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to join our team and lead the design of our consumer-facing product. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for defining the user experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving design excellence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of designers to create innovative and user-centered design solutions
  • Partner with product managers to shape product strategy and prioritize design initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design solutions are feasible and meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across products
  • Conduct user research and analysis to inform design decisions
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on consumer-facing products
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

At Stripe, we offer a competitive salary range of C$197,400 - C$296,000, depending on location and experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, company bonus, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends. Our hybrid work model allows for flexibility and work-life balance, with opportunities to work from home or in our offices.
