Montreal, Quebec, Canada Ubisoft Entertainment Full time
Job Description:

As a Production Director, Creative Services at Ubisoft Entertainment, you will be responsible for leading a specialized production department. Your primary objective is to ensure the implementation of best practices, methods, and tools to deliver exceptional results.

This role requires close collaboration with management to define the mission, objectives, priorities, and timelines of your department. You must develop a clear decision-making framework and communicate it effectively to teams and projects.

You will need to understand and anticipate the needs of game projects in terms of product or service offerings, technologies, features, performance, and quality. This includes developing a product/service development plan based on production needs and studio priorities, taking into account available resources and budget constraints.

In this role, you will be expected to manage priority conflicts caused by production schedules, follow up on main deliverables with project managers/teams, and provide regular updates to management on progress.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that internal clients (producers) are provided with critical information for their respective game projects. Furthermore, you must validate main deliverables to ensure they meet quality expectations and align with game team/project expectations.

A key aspect of this role is anticipating risks and implementing contingency plans to address potential delays that may impact content, timelines, or quality.

You will be responsible for defining the organizational structure of your team, determining resource needs, establishing hiring plans, and managing resource allocation within the department.

The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of project management and leadership experience, knowledge of content development, and the ability to influence change while anticipating blockers and finding creative solutions.

Requirements:
  • Experience in project management and leadership
  • Knowledge of content development
  • Able to influence change and anticipate blockers
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for growth and development.

Our biggest strength is our people – talented team members who produce high-quality games that have made our studio successful. Real people will review your application, and we look forward to hearing from you
