Retail Store Manager

Mac's Convenience Store is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records.
- Authorize payments, returns, and other transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
- Fast-paced retail environment.
- Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Accurate and efficient in all tasks.
- Client-focused and able to work with a variety of customers.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
- Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
