About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team at Carriere Industrial Supply Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate execution.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, and determine weldability of materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand for extended periods.
