Job Summary

Carriere Industrial Supply Limited is seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder-Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
    • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines.
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be a team player with flexibility, organization, and a hardworking attitude.
    • Be reliable and able to work independently.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
