Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Banff International Hostel. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
