Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to senior management and other staff members as required.
    • Develop and implement administrative procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Office Management
    • Oversee the maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
    • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management
    • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
    • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Training and Development
    • Train staff on administrative procedures and policies.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
