Job Summary

Infrastructure Ontario is seeking a highly skilled P3 Asset Manager to join our team. As a P3 Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery and operation of our public-private partnership (P3) infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze portfolio-wide data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to support contract compliance oversight and asset performance monitoring.
  • Develop and implement contract performance measurements and quality assurance frameworks to monitor and manage facilities management services and asset performance.
  • Implement change management strategies to gain support for initiatives and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage one asset in our portfolio, acting as the main point of contact between the client ministry and the P3 asset's representatives.
  • Provide service provider and contract compliance oversight, while managing complex relationships with clients and project company representatives.
  • Utilize reporting products to escalate complex issues and support contract compliance oversight.
  • Participate in project development, procurement, and implementation phases to ensure operational impacts are fully considered.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in data management and analytics, including the analysis of technical, legal, and financial data related to infrastructure and facilities management.
  • Demonstrated success in change management, working with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement portfolio-wide process improvements.
  • Excellent research skills, including the ability to gather pertinent information and assemble evidence to support recommendations.
  • Expertise in establishing partnerships and working collaboratively to reach consensus and manage stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Knowledge of asset and facility management principles, building systems, and occupant/user services issues on large commercial, institutional, and/or industrial real estate.
  • Business communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present information effectively.
  • At least 2 years of complex contract administration or relevant experience working in a large multi-divisional organization with real estate portfolios.
  • A strong background in architecture, business, accounting/finance, real estate, engineering, or a related discipline.
