Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our cyclical reporting processes for regulatory and management information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective reporting processes to meet regulatory requirements and internal stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial reports and analysis.
  • Provide expert advice on financial reporting and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to team members on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure our reporting processes remain compliant and effective.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a regulatory environment.
  • Deep knowledge of financial reporting regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
