Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Saint Thomas University. As a key member of our Dining Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items using standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintain accurate rotation of food to ensure top quality and freshness.
  • Manage leftover foods correctly, including covering, labeling, dating, and storing according to Aramark standards.
  • Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
  • Ensure stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift, including cleaning of kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards and regulations.
  • Follow safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
  • Complete all required training.
Requirements
  • Experience in food service is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is considered an asset.
  • Team player with ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
  • Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts.
