Job Title: Material Handler - Product Movement Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Thunderbal Distributors Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Picking orders and stocking
  • Weighing materials and goods
  • Making labels and attaching to goods
  • Wrapping goods
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory

Work Environment: This role will be based in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work. You will be required to work outdoors in dusty conditions and may be exposed to noise.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Excellent time management and reliability skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent client service
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
