Product Research Director

We are a global leader transforming the legal experience for all by harnessing the power of innovative technology.

Seeking a Director of Product Research

This role is available to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US.

We believe product research is pivotal to crafting a shared understanding of our customers' attitudes, behaviors, and needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a broad range of research initiatives that resulted in meaningful impact for the business and customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Build and scale a successful product design research practice from the ground up.
  2. Build a comprehensive customer empathy and advocacy program.
  3. Lead product design research across a broad range of initiatives.
  4. Ensure we have a foundation of actionable qualitative research.
  5. Ensure we have a foundation of actionable quantitative research.
  6. Triangulate qualitative and quantitative data.
  7. Build and maintain critical customer empathy artifacts.
  8. Enable A/B testing capabilities.
  9. Establish customer-backed OKRs.
  10. Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Science leaders.
  11. Evangelize product research across the organization.
  12. Hire and coach a high-performing team of researchers.

Requirements:

  3. Proven track record of leading research initiatives.
  4. Experience building research capabilities from the ground up.
  5. Unique ability to tame complexity and uncover meaningful insights.
  6. Innovative approach to uncovering actionable insights.
  7. High level of comfort working in a self-directed culture.
