Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Verification Specialist to join our team at the Manitoba Metis Federation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review citizenship files to ensure completeness and accuracy;
  • Verify all files include necessary documentation;
  • Collaborate with Regional Registry Officers to resolve incomplete files;
  • Check for authenticated genealogical requirements;
  • Maintain and update electronic and hard copy filing systems;
  • Perform clerical duties related to MMF Citizenship.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum two years' experience in an office environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other database programs;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Knowledge of genealogy, Métis culture, MMF programs, and services;
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid Manitoba Driver's license.
