About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Treasure Mills Inc. as an Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial plant by performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities, and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
    • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
    • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to minimize downtime
  • Equipment Installation and Programming
    • Install new machinery and equipment to meet production demands
    • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate processes
  • Workplace Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
    • Comply with industry standards and regulations for workplace hazardous materials
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other maintenance technicians and production staff to achieve production goals
    • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
